Mariner London has recently completed this project for one of their long-standing clients. Situated in the heart of London, the brief was to create an open-plan contemporary space that could be used whilst the client was on business. Clean, strong lines have been used throughout the property and the deep polished walnut finishes boldly contrast against the subtle base colours.
This timeless sitting set showcases one of Dorya’s signature upholstered pieces, the Sierra sofa. This sleek sofa is shown in a soft cream leather and paired with the Pera chair, upholstered in a classic navy blue and cream striped fabric. Teak is fast becoming the go-to wood in modern furniture, and designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby have just collaborated with German producers Dedon to craft the Tibbo collection in exactly that material. In fact, Dedon has never produced furniture in teak before, and Tibbo represents the designers’ first ever collaboration with Barber and Osgerby. The range is hand crafted from slow-growth premium teak grown in sustainable plantations.

Originally a method of keeping dense filings in place, this method has since blossomed into a trademark of classic detailing.

The classical staircase sweeps majestically up from the lobby, through a half moon landing to the mezzanine level and beyond. The beautiful balustrade is hand cast in bronze, giving a tactile and timeless finish, and capped with a rich gleaming timber handrail perfectly. The cool marbled stone steps are inlaid with bronze. Materials used pay homage to the traditional style of the building.
